Getting into Lives is easy. During Sam's quest about water supplies to the NMP, you need to tell Christopher that the main character can fix the filter, and he'll give you a piece of paper proving citizenship. You can talk to Eduard Schwein about his collection of rare items and offer him a robotic arm from Tin Industries. You can also learn the coordinates of the Oasis, or simply offer a bribe of fifteen hundred.
Conversations at the entrance reveal that both men are courting Minion Horton. If you talk to Christopher about Minion, he'll ask you to find her a valuable gift (perfume in the cabinet near Lucy in the NMP), while Dallas wants to arrange a romantic date, which requires a music CD (found in the Dusk Dogs location). If you resolve the matter in Christopher's favor by eliminating his rival (verbally) and persuading the girl, he'll give you a prototype plasma rifle, one of the quest items for entering Olympus through the main entrance. Dallas will give you crystal water, but its purpose is unclear.
One of the wall safes (in the upper left section, where the Dantons live) contains a dildo for Blanca from the NWO. The safe in the room behind the central hall and the closet in the lower right section also have decent loot, and it will also appear in Ludwig Schwein's inventory.
For starters, you can meet the good-natured, overweight Boston McKenzie in the upper right section and learn that he's married to his sister, and their daughter wants to marry her brother. He can be given a quest to reconcile him with Peter's widow and Minion's mother, Claudia Hawthorne (lower right section). No problems, though he won't give a reward.
His daughter, Fox, can't find the Constitution of the 15 Rights, and although the main character has it after the fight with the big guy in the Oasis, the topic isn't pursued further (Abilene also mentions it, but that's all).
The next quest can be taken from Ludwig Schwein, a scientist in the lower left section. He needs a textbook on wave science. Minion Hawthorne will say she saw it at her mother's. We confront Claudia and promise that Schwein will make her a death ray. Hand over the book, receive a piece of a map with coordinates to Renaissance, and trade with Schwein will be opened. He has a plasma pistol (you can also steal it while he's scratching his head).
The man at the music machine asks you to fix the water filter. Bring it to Karl at the Dogs of Dusk, he fixes it, then bring it back and install it. You can do it yourself, but you need a high repair skill.
Emily Danton in the center of the room asks you to destroy the monsters in the cave. Take the rope from the crate in the upper right corner, climb into the hole in the center of the basement, destroy it, and receive a voice modulator as a reward; it will come in handy.
Her husband, Soap (upper left section), asks you to kill her. You can convince him to do it himself, or you can invite Emily to the basement to "discuss an important matter" and kill her there. Based on experience, and based on the items in her inventory, it's better to let her husband do this. You can become Laivos' caretaker.
