Arcanum Walkthrough -> Kintarra and Caladon
The Silver Lady says we should talk to Nasrudin about this, even though he died over 2,000 years ago. Isn't that crazy?! By the way, Raven will want to join you:
Caladon (1606W 1828S)
Editor's Note: Before you begin the main storyline, first go to the Weeping Onion Tavern. Go to the place where two guys are playing pool. There will be a hole to the right of them. Go down and see some assholes killing our friend, Virgil.
His death is inevitable, but there's a resurrection scroll in the chest nearby.
Use the scroll on the dead Virgil and he will come back to life. You can also ask him about the afterlife and life after death. So, take your old friend into your group and off to new adventures :)
We go to the first church of Panaria. We talk to the abbot, Alexander. He will say that we should consult an archaeologist and a historian. We go to the historian:
He will tell us that there are some oddities in the religion of Panaria. For example, the final resting place of Nasreddin is unknown, although the remains located in the temple catacombs are real. We go to the archaeologist:
The archaeologist is not allowed to go to Nasreddin's remains, and at any end of your conversation, he asks you to find his remains in the temple catacombs. You can go deeper into the temple, steal the key from the guard and enter the catacombs, or you can enter through the hatch near the entrance to the temple. The first method is shorter.
Some strange words are written on the coffin, and the skeleton is missing a finger on his right hand.
We take the skull and go to the archaeologist. The archaeologist will be terribly surprised - the skull is human, and Nasreddin was an Elf. And due to the missing finger, we can even say that it is Manox. He will inform you that Nasredin's last refuge is the southernmost point of Arcanum, or more precisely, the island of Thanatos. We should continue our search there.
Let's go to the historian. As it turns out, he guessed that the machines were fake. After you tell him about the strange symbols on the coffin, he will say that it is the Elven language.
Roseboro (1750W 1515S)
We walk along the coast up, far beyond the city limits. We see something like a hole - we climb in:
Inside we find Manox's diary and his sword.
Caladon (1606W 1828S)
We tell everyone in the temple about this mistake. Everyone will be terribly upset, especially Father Alexander. He will ask for Manox's sword - give it to him, it's not very powerful. For completing this quest, the archaeologist will allow you to take artifacts:
Putting the finger on your neck helps a lot, but the glass key is really necessary. Head to the Iron Clan entrance.
