There aren't any quests here, but you can find two necessary parts. Before searching for them, it's highly recommended to take two Rad-X (or one and quickly get to the radiation suit, which requires a high level of Erudition and Lockpicking). The only enemies here are a few geckos, so you shouldn't have any problems. First, it's best to head to the nuclear power plant itself. Besides lockpicking, you can also open the door with a high repair skill or dynamite (the latter will cost you 500 experience). There, you'll find the radiation suit (in a white locker; you need 95% lockpicking and an electronic master key or card to enter the warehouse).
Not only will you need it to repair your armor, but you can also equip it right away and save RadAway. If you don't want to fight the robots (but one of them has a minigun), use your Erudition (75%) on the console at the entrance. One of the lockers contains a red card for the computer. The computer itself will tell you a little information, but nothing particularly important will be found there. You can find some loot in the cabinets, including a welding machine, a servo motor, and a fuse. A corpse in the reactor itself contains a card to access the warehouse. There's nothing else of interest here.
In the second location, the "dump," where the controller is located, you'll need to tie a rope to a contraption near the building and then use it. This will gain access inside. Besides the controller (removable without any requirements), you can salvage various items from the machine. To salvage everything, you need a repair skill of 100% (tools won't help). You can also find a very useful super repair kit (+50% skill) and a repair book in the locked house. Both will help open the door to the nuclear power plant itself.
