Body Armor

Stalker: Call of Pripyat  → Body Armor

The Leather Cloak is a standard black leather cloak. It offers no significant protection to the wearer, other than to keep the wearer warm at night and to reduce the bite of a blind dog. It's quite inconvenient in the Zone, but is nonetheless often used by bandits, perhaps solely for its appearance.

Weight: 4 kg. Containers (+ mf): 0 (0).

The "Zarya" jumpsuit is a stalker suit made by artisans, combining a two-layer rubberized fabric with a plexiglass lining and a built-in bulletproof vest. Although the vest can be penetrated even by a pistol bullet, the suit is widely used due to its low cost and extensive upgrade options. It is equipped with built-in artifact storage containers.

Weight: 5 kg. Containers (+ MF): 2 (+2).

The "CHN-3a" body armor was once standard issue for the Clear Sky assault squads. The destruction of this group was a stark reminder that even the best equipment cannot guarantee safety in the Zone. This protective suit is capable of not only stopping pistol bullets but also provides good protection against anomalous influences. It is equipped with a built-in artifact container.

Weight: 11 kg. Containers (+ mf): 1 (+3).

The PS-5M "Universal Protection" is a modern model of the "Dolga" suit. It's best suited for stalker recruits accustomed to relatively lightweight suits. Unlike the Serri PS3, it provides good protection against anomalous effects and is capable of stopping a pistol bullet. Artifact containers are not provided, but various auxiliary systems can be installed.

Weight: 7 kg. Containers (+ mf): 0 (0).

The PS3-9d "Duty Armor" is an early model of the "Dolga" suit, also known as the PSZ-9 series special forces body armor. Adapted for use in the Zone. It can protect against machine gun bullets, but is very bulky and provides little protection against anomalous influences. It does not support artifact containers, but can be equipped with various auxiliary systems.

Weight: 15 kg. Containers (+ mf): 0 (0).

The "Wind of Freedom" jumpsuit is an extremely lightweight stalker suit manufactured by the artisans of the "Freedom" group. It is made from fabric treated with the "Horizon" compound, which significantly increases protective properties in conditions of anomalous activity. It is equipped with a built-in body armor and artifact containers.

Weight: 4 kg. Containers (+ mf): 2 (+3).

The "Guardian of Freedom" jumpsuit is a stalker suit with reinforced body armor, manufactured by the artisans of the "Freedom" group. It offers a successful combination of armor and anomalous protection. The integrated body armor, made of armor plates and several layers of Kevlar, is capable of stopping a pistol bullet. To protect against anomalous influences, the suit's fabric is impregnated with the "Sovereign" compound. It is equipped with an artifact container.

Weight: 8 kg. Containers (+ mf): 1 (+3).

The Beryl-5M armor suit is a modified PS5 military body armor with a beryllium coating for use in the Zone. It is designed for assault operations in areas with elevated background radiation, but is ineffective in conditions of high anomalous activity. Stalkers obtain it through military personnel who trade military equipment for swag. It is not equipped with artifact containers.

Weight: 9 kg. Containers (+ mf): 0 (+2).

The "Bulat" armor suit is a modern military armor suit designed for assault operations in zones of anomalous activity. Components: a heavy PS3-12p series body armor, an anomalous protection suit, and a compensatory suit. It provides excellent protection from bullets and shrapnel while remaining comfortable and barely restricting the wearer's mobility. It is not equipped with artifact containers.

Weight: 12 kg. Containers (+ mf): 0 (+2).

This military-grade body armor suit is designed for assault operations. It provides excellent protection against bullets and shrapnel without impairing the wearer's mobility. It is penetrable by armor-piercing bullets.

Weight: 12 kg.

The SEVA suit is designed for research activities in the Zone. It features an outer insulating coating and a closed-loop breathing system, providing excellent protection against anomalous influences. However, its resistance to mechanical impact is low, making the wearer highly vulnerable to enemy fire. It features a built-in container for transporting artifacts.

Weight: 10 kg. Containers (+ MF): 2 (+3).

Exoskeleton - provides excellent protection against bullets and shrapnel, but significantly reduces mobility. Penetrable to armor-piercing bullets.
