Save the Elf from the Bedokans
The leader of the Elven Hunters asks one of his men to find you. The hunter is trapped in the Bedokan village.
There are several ways to free him: kill the guards, steal the rope from the leader's barrel, or help the leader kill the skin hunters at the Poacher Camp.
Kintarra Mini-Quests
- The Elf Swift asks you to help her get to Tarant.
- The Elf Blacksmith asks you to find mithril ore for him. It can be purchased from the blacksmith in the Wheel clan.
- The Elf Explorer asks you to find the essence of Loar Wisp. The essence is located in the Old Lagoon.
Free the unjustly convicted
A dwarf named Jormud asks you to free him from forced magic training at the Gate, although he himself agreed to this. Soon, everyone will know that Vrat has been killed, and therefore Jormud is the prime suspect.
Take the glass containing the remains of the poison from Vrat's body. Talk to the wife of the local poison maker, Ivory. She will admit that her husband made the poison, but she won't say that he poisoned Vrat. Steal the poison vial from Ivory's house. The dwarf guard will believe you, and Jormud will join the group.
Main questline in Arcanum
Near the palace entrance stands the Silver Lady's daughter, Raven. Raven asks you to convince a group of surveyors to leave the sacred sites of the elves. Go to Falcon Eye:
You can attack the surveyors and kill them with any good spell, or you can lie to them that you are a human from Bates. Otherwise, they will pack their things and flee. Now Raven will let you in to see her mother:
You'll find most of her lines nonsense, but one thing is worth remembering: Min Groad is the name of one of the Dark Elves. We'll be looking for him. A man who researches Dark Elves will help us with this. Raven will tell you about him—his name is Renford A. Terwilenger.
To find Renford, you'll have to return to Tarant.
