Arcanum Walkthrough -> Stillwater (1190W 754S)
Stillwater is famous for crafting the finest swords in all of Arcanum (though I wouldn't say so). First, let's go to the local cottage and pick up a book and a note from our friend Joachim :)
Find a Missing Friend
Blacksmith Richard Lix is worried about his friend Kurus. He lives north of Stillwater. Kurus is not in the house, and there's a pool of blood on the floor. Gray footprints appear in the snow near the house - follow them. We reach the ogre's cave, "Blactuta's Ditch," and find Kurus sitting in a cage.
It turns out the ogre went looking for seasoning for the meat. Exit the cave, follow the path to the cave exit, kill the ogre, take the key, and release the mage.
Return the God's Statue
A local priestess of the Geshtian cult will ask you to find a statue of their god. Go to a certain Marley. Marley explains that he was ugly, but after receiving the statue, he became incredibly handsome.
Promise him Birgitha's blessing in exchange for the statue. After returning the statue, Birgitha will bless you (+1 beauty).
Find the Lost Ruby
Gildor Evening-Walk asks you to find a huge ruby. He already tried to get it, but huge beasts attacked him and his friends and devoured them all. Head to Ruby Glade and get the quest stone. By the way, I recommend buying armor and weapons beforehand.
Find the location of Kintarra
An elf named Mirth won't reveal Kintarra's location, but if you have enough charisma, he will reveal it on the first question. If you're low on charisma, you'll have to complete a quest to bring him the hide of the Still Waters Giant.
To do this, you'll need to go to Tarant, to the exhibit where the "smartest org" was located, and buy or steal a fake hide. By the way, you can steal an artifact from Mirt for the herbalist Gaylin of the Misty Hills , and she'll tell you the location of Kintarra:
Kintarra is located in the Shimmering Forest. Getting there is difficult, but possible. You need to pass through the Nardlin Pass.
