The original F2 quests "Protect the Brahmin", "Save Torr", and "Refill the Still" are gone.
Whiskey Bob gives $2 for every empty bottle brought in.
Help Torr find a job collecting bottles for Bob. 50xp, +3 Karma
First, you need to ask Bob about the job and have at least one empty bottle with you to show Torr as a sample. Sulik can translate for Torr (smiles...), but not while you're talking about the job. The mod adds a fun questline for bad combat (played with negative Karma), which is unavailable with positive Karma. The distiller parts (the coil and valves) are located in a small basement of the trapper settlement. You need a rope to get down there. You can sell the parts to Bob for $100, or, if you have a Repair skill of 30%, you can offer to install them. Keep in mind that you need a Repair skill of 35% to successfully do this (for $100 and +2% to your Repair skill). He has an Electronics Manual for sale (Dean's Electronics), and another one is under the stairs in the Rat Tunnels. Important: The valves are located in the old still. You'll need to look at them (using binoculars) to find them.
Convince Emily to work for Long Nose Sally. $100, 100xp, -5 karma.
If you look closely at the notice on the Klamath bulletin board, you'll see that Longnose Sally is hiring "chickens." Talk to her to find out the details and find a suitable girl (Emily in the trapper settlement). Female characters with 8 Charisma and the Sexual Appeal trait may prefer to do this themselves for 100xp and $50. Convince Emily to take the job for $100, 100xp, and -5 Karma. Female characters need to persuade her (70% Conversation), while male characters need to seduce her first. To seduce her, you need to bring Emily sweets (cookies, one of the kids has them, +1AP for 10 minutes) or a trinket (a cosmetic bag, stolen from Jenny, the only "talker"). Next, you need to ask her what she wants, and then bring her a leather jacket. If you don't convince her to "go to work," you can keep her as your mistress. If you have Nuka-Cola or Beer (male characters only) in your inventory, you can offer them to Longnose Sally, after which she will agree to give you a discount on bathhouse visits. Otherwise, you will only receive the discount after completing some work for her. Female characters can work at the bathhouse for $35 per day, for a maximum of 6 days. Keep in mind that you must do this before replacing Jenny; after that, it will be unavailable. Male characters with a Strength of 8 can get a job as a bathhouse guard for $70 per day, also for 6 days. Please note that after the 6th day, the character will suffer from a dislocated arm... Right... Harmful work...
Spread rumors about Adrin to Longnose Sally. 100xp, -2 karma
If you talk to Sally before completing Smiley's quest, you can ask her why she hates the Buckners. Afterwards, you can post gossip about Adrine on the town bulletin board for 100xp, -2 Karma, and 3 packs of cigarettes from Sally.
Recover the black box from the fallen Vertibird for the Enclave.
(See the description for the Navarro location)
Put an end to the theft in Sam's garden. 300xp
Sam maintains a vegetable garden below the transition zone in the trapper settlement. If you ask him about the crop problem in Arroyo, he'll offer to help you solve it. First, you'll need to help him catch a vegetable thief. Wait until midnight, and you'll spot a kid in the garden. He'll quickly run away, but you'll "recognize him if you see him again." The kid's name is Robin, and he lives in a room in Golden Gecko. To get in, you'll need to hack the locked door in the back (or just rent a room for the night for $30). Robin is mute, so talk to a man named Ned there. Ask him about the kid and follow the dialogue. He'll get angry, and you'll have to kill him. Search the corpse to find a 'Thieves' Stone', and don't forget to pick up the brass knuckles. Return to the vegetable garden and tell Sam the problem is solved. Show him the Stone as proof, and he'll tell you about AFR (a pesticide) that will eradicate the infestation in Arroyo. You can find two bags of AFR in a locker in the underground Rat Tunnels. If you don't want to complete this quest, pay him $200 for the information.
The Rat Tunnels.
The entrance to the Rat Tunnels has changed. You still need to get the key from Slim to open the door to the locked area (or get the key from a dog running around Klamath for a piece of meat; lockpicking also works), but the old entrance is completely blocked. The new entrance is in the garage to the west, above the house with the chest. There you'll find a large pile of rocks that can be blown up with explosives to reveal a passage to the lower level (place them next to the rocks). The only explosives in the area are in Vic's cabin in northeast Klamath (on the floor, right under the wall). To open the door with the dead trapper behind it, you must first use "Repair" on the door, see the message that the valve that opens the door can be twisted with a wrench and a sledgehammer, then equip the wrench and sledgehammer in the weapon slots, and use the Repair skill on the door several times. Tools can be found in the tunnels. Strength level is irrelevant. A new single-shot pistol can be found among the bones at the far end of the tunnels. There are also three small wall cabinets containing medical supplies that are easy to miss—they're in the northern wall, but hidden behind ledges.
Take part in Saeg's "Hunting Expedition".
Bad Boy: If you decide to show Saeg (the bartender) the Toxic Caves location in exchange for the key, he'll send you to a trapper in leather armor standing near a burning barrel. This trapper will teach you how to skin geckos and invite you to join a hunting expedition to the Toxic Caves. Go there and hunt, although there will be fewer geckos than usual. Give the skin to the bad hunters who killed Smiley for 250 XP.
After you've completed the expedition quest for Saeg, you can ask him about work. He'll send you to the Danton brothers to steal a brahmin. This quest is a little different now. You need to get parts of the Bug-Man suit (pincers and tail) and then scare Torr with them. Or you can just hit him over the head with a blunt object; either way, you'll lose -5 Karma. Report to Saeg for $100 and 250 XP (unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to report to Saeg, so maybe it doesn't work). After the "Hunting Expedition" quest, you can get a discount from Saeg.
There's a lot of junk, but not much money right now, and it's easier with money. It makes sense to buy pelts at bars and sell them in bundles of 3 (gold) or 6 (regular) to Slim Picket (at the entrance to the rat territory).
Got 2 Paws, 2 books, a cookie, and a car part? That's it, there's nothing else to do. Just learn Scout from Smiley (5...10, random) and +10 Hand-to-Hand Combat from Sullivan. But that doesn't necessarily mean you need to do it right now.
