Olympus (Olympus 2207)

Sunset Dogs (Olympus 2207)

There are three merchants here, one with different armor—the eco-suit is ideal for wandering the Wasteland; it appears to be available at level 9. Another has a decent selection of weapons.

Vince is standing near the barrier, about to fight the brute Stan. You can discuss betting with him, and he'll fight himself, or you can offer your services (significantly better based on experience). Then, in the next map, approach Casper (near the lamppost) and announce yourself in Vince's place, deposit money (you can later steal it back), and, since hand-to-hand combat is weak, enter the ring with Shaggy—the outcome is a foregone conclusion. Shaggy will remain in the ring after the fight, but will join the main character upon exiting the map. Another option is to pay Casper 1000 to cancel the fight.

Right there, in the building to the right, in the far room, stands the leader of the Dogs, Screamer. In this same room, there's a staircase going down (it's hidden by the lower wall). You can sneak up there and descend. On the floor are an Ultra Repair Kit (a quest item for entering Olympus) and the barrel of Jackal's revolver (the former leader of the Dogs). The safe contains Jackal's diary, which reveals a laboratory whose entrance is hidden by a slab in the barracks' restroom. Let's go there.

First, just above him, near two tents, stands a half-naked hulk. This is Ursul. You should go hunting Urs with him—he'll give you the coordinates for Mangy Dog, needed for easy passage into Tartarus, or perhaps even Olympus. And in the house behind him, you can find the "Romantic Collection" disc, which Dallas needs in Laivos.

Head up and left – near the barracks, just below the ring, stands Oswald, one of Screamer's deputies. He's a boor, and attempts to bully him should be nipped in the bud, but he shouldn't escalate to a fight either. He loves guns and wants to find the Slugger (the one Philip gave him for solving the lavash problem). We'll give him up for five hundred.

In the bathroom of the right barracks, we find a secret hatch (the cursor will change to a hand), head down to the middle of the map near the radioactivity sign, and find a door disguised as a wall. In the lower part of the lab, there's a virus strain in the desk, and in the wall safe, an Observation Potato.

Exploring the upper right part of the location in the garage, we'll find Billy, another of Screamer's deputies. He'll offer to keep lookout while he screws the leader's chick, Shiva. We agree when Jackal returns, use the information about Jackal's conflict with Boar, and talk about the supposedly overheard conversation. That's it, he'll give you a pistol with an extended magazine (there's a random encounter with an old man waiting for Billy, but there's no development of the theme).

Further up in the workshop, there's a mechanic named Karl. Talk to him about a green body armor—he needs parts from Chris in the warehouse. We go there (unarmed; we already know from Oswald that Chris is schizophrenic) and accept the quest to eliminate Kyle (he's standing near the warehouse entrance). You can get a set of parts before completing this quest. Bring the required parts to Karl, and from the items he gives you, craft a fake Olympus armor (needed to enter Olympus through the main gate).

Kyle will try to frame Chris and hand over his stash—there's nothing impressive there. Eliminating Kyle is easy—just tell him he's been targeted, and he'll rush into battle, and no one will stand up for him. Put away your weapon and turn in the quest to Chris. Take the cylinder of the Jackal's revolver from his corpse; the handle is on the floor in the lower left corner of the warehouse (you can assemble the revolver with a repair skill of 90). Now Kyle needs to find a replacement—Karl.

In the building above the warehouse stands the butcher Garr. He needs a whetstone, which can be found in the Oasis cave and in the Laivos basement. He'll reward you with a decent weapon, a serrated cleaver.

There's a rat hole nearby; you need to throw some cheese nearby, and then you can get a piece of the Renaissance map and a finger with a ring from the hole (Screamer mentioned the habit of chopping off fingers, but there's no further development).

Screamer will give you the quest to bring him three chimera fangs, which is only completed during the Olympus quests. After that, you can safely kill him; no one likes him and won't stand up for him.

That seems to be all there is to it, except for Karl getting a water filter from Laivos for repairs.

Mangy Dog:

Here, in the upper left corner, in the shadow of the fence, there's a box containing a Dexterity Potato. There are only two quests: first, clear the approaches to the house, and then find 5 mines. For this, Fred will give you the Herald's Mantle, which allows you to enter Tartarus via the Metro, and with an access card from Army Headquarters, even Olympus. But to save your father, you still need RadAway.

Additionally, Fred's friend Christy asks you to destroy several chimeras. You can, of course, simply kill them, but that's too easy.

Oasis:

In the cave with the radscorpions, there's a Charisma Potato.

First, talk to the elder. In the branch where it says the tribe's people won't let the main character out, you'll have the option to fight Klumok. After defeating him, we learn that the "elder" is just playing a role and receive the Constitution of the 15 Rights of Laivos from her.

From Klumok, we learn that he's in love with the elder Ptuna's daughter, and she asks you to find her dog, Hook, who was eaten by the Khala tribe's healer.

You need to heal Khala's arm, if you have at least a first aid kit. Her cooking and healing recipes won't inspire the main character, but you can learn in conversation that she ate Ptuna's dog.

Ideally, you'd want to take out this tribe, which will be done during the Olympus quests.

Extinct Village:

Note from  Pyran :

Nothing special, just a couple of empty houses, a few crates.

The only notable thing is an old man who's been waiting for his son to return for years. You can play along with him... there's a touching moment here.
