Six months have passed since this image was first published, so I decided to write down what was meant:
It's argued here that factions are stronger than blocks, but no one has yet fully utilized them. Previously, there were public fleets themed around the Caldari, Matar, and other such things. They proved themselves to be very effective and also demonstrated that not everyone in nullsec has the capacity to handle a 100-250-strong fleet with battleships and a fax.
Preparatory material:
1) Income and expenses. Managing a corporation or Alliance in EVE is like playing Civilization, StarCraft, or any other strategy game of your choice. The CEO has monthly income and expense items, and they have to manage how their organization operates and where their funds are spent. Are you profitable or unprofitable at the end of the month? Is your income sufficient to meet your corporation's goals, are your expenses justified, etc.
2) Neutral. Anyone who starts playing EVE can choose one of four factions: Amarr, Gallente, Matar, or Caldar. But in reality, you simply become neutral, meaning there's only one neutral faction, regardless of your choice. In Planetside 2, choosing a faction gives you safe territory, and 33% of players won't attack you, since there are only three factions. By this logic, in EVE, I don't think 25% of space should be attacked when choosing one of the factions. But in reality, you'll have 0% safe space, since there's only one neutral faction.
3) Safe Space. This is a place where you can farm without being killed by others. Currently, factions can shoot at their own, and there is no faction-specific safe space in the game. However, blocks (coalitions of alliances) and alliances that have captured part of space in Nullsec, WH, Lowsec, and Pochven can provide this service. You join them and, in exchange for certain obligations, farm ISK safely. That's the miner's dream: to be protected. However, blocs and alliances in Nullsec, WH, Lowsec, and Pochven have no connection to the main factions. According to the lore, they are essentially illegal neutral formations that kill everyone unless you're with them.
EVE now offers the ability to create a safe space for your corporation without joining a block or alliance. Furthermore, in any region on the map you choose, it all comes down to your corporation's monthly income and expenses, and the time it takes to make the region safe so your corporation can farm safely and recoup its investment.
Main material
My subjective estimates of the security costs in ISK, after which you can safely farm:
1. Solitude - 100-300 billions isk.
2. Aridia - 1-3 trillion ISK.
3. Lowsec pirates' home region - 20-30 trillion.
4. Non-capital region of the Goons - 20-30 trillion.
5. The capital region of the Goons - 200-300 trillion.
Costs take into account that your opponent will also throw a factional army at you.
Technical part
If you have such funds (200-300 trillion, that's half of Jita's monthly turnover from trade) or you decided to start with a small Region like Solitude 100-300 billion and just snowball your corp across the regions, beating off ISK, a logical question arises: how to make a faction army in a game where there are no Gallente, Matar, Caldar and Amarr, there are only neutrals not in the block and neutrals in the block?
Army
To understand who's currently operating in the region, let's open the Solitude killboard:
https://zkillboard.com/region/10000044/
In 3-4 freelance projects, the entire subcap can be covered.
This will be your army, which is engaged in clearing out all illegal formations that are not related to the factional fleet.
Police
With the second batch of freelance projects, you cover the insurance of all subcap/capital ships of one of the factions in the region where you want to safely farm the corporation, in this case, Solitude:
The internal troops, in the second wave after the army, destroy all ships that are not related to the Matar in a given region. So, if there are no pirates, blocks, or illegal formations in the region according to lore, that are not related to any main factions, and there are no ships other than the Matar, everything that is not Matar is destroyed. Like, there are standing fleets - NPSI: no purple shoot it, but this fleet is NFSI: not a faction - shoot, which again is correct according to the game lore.
And it will be especially funny and amusing when your opponents start telling you about moons, metenoxes, anomalies, and profit, and you respond to them about democracy in the case of the Gallentes and the will of the president, about the Sanctuaries and the Empress of the Amarr, about the Elders of the Matar tribes, and about the corporate spirit of the Caldari.
You could even declare war, saying the Faction is going to liberate space from illegal formations, and that would be more in line with the lore than it currently is. Firstly. Secondly, based on the story of EVE Frontier, everything in the EVE Online world should be destroyed, which again aligns with the game's lore. And the main benefit is that you'll be able to freely farm with your corp in any region after this procedure. The main thing is that the invested ISK lasts until you can recoup them.
