Half-Life 2 Walkthrough -> We Don't Go to Ravenholm.
At dusk, we emerge into the houses of a small town. There are tons of zombies and brain-suckers here. We make our way through the houses, actively throwing fire extinguishers and circular saw blades at the zombies (since ammo is low, try to use the gravity gun as often as possible).
Father Grigory
We reach a house with a fire burning in front of it. A man calls out from a window:
To put out the fire, you need to turn off the valve nearby. In the house, we go upstairs and in the last room, we press the switch, which turns off the power and the gate below.
We return to the street and follow it up until we reach another flame. We turn off the valve again. Once we reach the gate we saw from the window, we lure the zombies back to the place where the flames were burning and turn on the valve, releasing the gas:
As soon as the zombies enter the gas, set it on fire. Either by shooting at the pavement or by flipping a small switch. Approach the fence that was previously electrified, climb over it, climb the ladder, and see the same guy again. Continue along the street along the walkways, between the houses.
Here, in front of you, you'll see two old Volga cars suspended between the houses:
First, we move forward past the first car and pull the lever, then go back and pull the first lever again, jump onto the car, and then climb the planks out the window. There, we walk along the walkway to the house and again see a familiar man with a gun. He introduces himself as Father Grigory and jokes about his flock.
After a while, we climb out the third-floor window onto the street and see a priest in the house opposite. We shoot the red barrels and all the evil spirits below, descend, walk down the street, and climb the stairs. There, we go into the house. We hear Father Grigory shouting for us to go to church.
Tricksters
In the place where nimble zombies leap effectively against the sky, we go into the first house with an open door. There, we climb the stairs to the roof and receive a shotgun from Father Grigory:
After that, jump into the water tank and climb the ladder to the roof of the building. After fending off the attack of the nimble zombies, enter the door and board the elevator (be careful, there will be a lot of zombies). A new, most dangerous type of zombie awaits you below.
It throws poisonous headcrabs (four of them are clustered around it, including a fifth on its head). It's best to set it on fire with a fire extinguisher and back away, or shoot all the headcrabs it drops and kill it with a crowbar (approach from behind, and don't be afraid, it's slow).
Finding ourselves in a small square with inoperative chopper blades, we look at the illuminated balcony of the house next door. We're heading there. We go around this house to the right and on this balcony, we press the lever, causing the upper part of the cradle to move along the wires.
We head back to the blades. Now we go along the passage to the left of the house we visited and climb up the boxes there (take a fire extinguisher and set the "fat man" zombie next to the boxes on fire). After walking along the entire street, across the walkways and rooftops, we see Father Grigory again. We climb into the window of the house on whose roof he's standing.
In the cradle at the cemetery
After leaving the house and reaching the balcony, from which industrial buildings are visible, we turn left and see a staircase running along the opposite building. We're heading there. After reaching the roof of the factory, we find ourselves next to a church. Father Grigory shouts from the churchyard that he'll bring the cradle right now.
While the cradle is moving, fend off the attacks of the nimble zombies climbing the swaying pipes. When you see the pipe begin to sway and a zombie's head appears, shoot. When the cradle arrives, hop in and pull the lever. We drive to the churchyard and meet the priest, then follow him to the cemetery.
Together, we shoot the zombies we encounter. There are a lot of them, so conserve ammo and use the red barrels and scattered saws.
Fear Mine
After reaching the end of the cemetery, he'll open the door. We go into the building where we'll find the mine. Carefully descend the planks. From above, shoot the red barrels and as many of the brain-suckers scurrying below as possible. When you reach the metal catwalk, you'll find some health and weapons in the booth.
Near these catwalks, there will be another catwalk, from which we jump over the fence blocking the entrance to the tunnel. There, we jump into a shaft filled with water. After swimming underwater, we find ourselves in another vertical shaft. We need to climb over the planks on one side.
After swimming into a cave with a fire and walking a short distance, we see rails leading upward and a mine cart with blades. We turn it on. When it starts moving up and down, we carefully make our way up. The main thing is to lure the zombies onto the tracks and avoid getting hit by the blades yourself (there will be small indentations in the wall; use them).
Daylight
We exit the tunnel to the railroad. We walk along it to the place where a sniper is shooting zombies. We throw a grenade through his window. Next, there will be another sniper who will shoot at a train with logs in front of us. There is no need to break through the logs. You can crawl invisible between the wall and the car. There are grenades in a crate in the red car. We treat this sniper too.
Further along the tracks, we will meet Combine soldiers from whom we will take a new weapon – a pulse cannon. Entering the building, we see a battle between rebels and soldiers. We meet a black man. He contacts Alix, who says that her father is being held in the former Nova Prospekt prison. The only way to get there is along the coast, and we need to go by car.
