Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl → Dump
Visiting Gray won't be easy—bandits have swarmed the area. They're shooting at stalkers and, for some unknown reason, trying to seize the radioactive equipment dump defended by stalkers led by Bes.
The demon will offer to help you defend the camp—it's up to you whether to agree or not. Here you can get your hands on submachine guns and an AKS-74U. Either way, you'll need to stock up on ammunition and first aid kits to break through the bandit stronghold on the road north to the factory. If you're confident, you can hole up in the vehicle graveyard and try to defend it. The bandits will first come from the east, then from the south and north. You'll quickly run out of ammunition—you'll have to not only scavenge from bodies but also empty the weapons lying on the ground.
Once you decide there's nothing more to do here, head north along the road. You won't miss Gray's location—you'll be asked over the radio to help defend the building from bandits advancing from the east. And here's Gray himself. He'll transfer you to another acquaintance—a stalker nicknamed Mole, who apparently unearthed the hiding place where Strelok kept his things.
Before heading to Mole, stock up on ammunition, bandages, and first aid kits. On the road east, toward the Agroprom Research Institute, bandits are holed up behind concrete slabs. You can try firing at them from the protection of the half-open iron gates. Proceed to the Agroprom Research Institute .
