In the area around the lake, eliminate all the local zombies, but don't approach the buildings yet. Your goal is the bunker and Professor Sakharov, who can provide you with protection from psionic radiation in exchange for a bodyguard. You need to accompany scientist Semenov and protect him while he measures the field strength.

The secret is to run ahead of Semenov and exterminate the zombies. Sooner or later, the psi-radiation will knock you out, but you won't turn into a zombie. Sakharov will give you a sample of brain protection. You'll have to go underground again...

The psi-radiation is successfully shielded by the device, but the hero's eyes are still gray. In the courtyard, you'll find well-aimed zombies (not dangerous) and jumping snorks (these will cause problems). Go down to Laboratory X-16 .
