Big up, man! Here's a walkthrough of the post-apocalyptic first-person shooter, Half-Life 2. For those who played the first Half-Life, I think I don't need any explanation. But for those unfamiliar, I'll try to briefly explain the plot:

According to the game's story, approximately 20 years passed from the end of the first Half-Life to the beginning of the second. During this time, a ton of monsters from the Cens arrived on Earth through a teleport opened by the main character, Gordon Freeman.

People began flocking to large cities because it was impossible to survive outside the city limits. At that moment, an alien race called the Combine arrived on Earth, suppressing human resistance in seven hours, establishing their control over the planet.

Just then, you, as Dr. Gordon Freeman, appear in one of the cities occupied by the Combine. You're sent there by the mysterious G-Man from Half-Life 1. As you play, you meet old acquaintances, make new friends, help the resistance, and take down monsters and Alliance soldiers.

In my opinion, the second Half-Life game is definitely worth playing—you won't regret it. :) Now, let's move on to the step-by-step walkthrough of the shooter itself.

 

Half-Life 2: Gameplay Walkthrough

1. Arrival - Freeman's appearance in City 17.

2. A Great Day - the first unsuccessful teleportation.

3. Through the Channels (part 2) - meeting the first Vortigaunt in the game.

4. Radioactive Waters - an unforgettable boat ride :)

5. Black Mesa East - Eli's secret lab.

6. We Don't Go to Ravenholm - a town of lonely zombies.

7. Route 17 - a buggy ride away from horny antlions.

8. Sand Traps - obtaining pheropods from a dead beetle.

9. Nova Prospekt - Freeman's new adventures in the old prison.

10. Twist - the second unsuccessful teleportation attempt.


11. Intruder #1 (part 2) - a walk through the ruined city.

12. After Freeman! (Part 2) - fighting enemy striders.

Half-life 2: Episode One

1. Excessive anxiety - a wonderful meeting with a dog.

4. Escape from the city - across rooftops and houses to the stars!

5. Exit 17 - the escape of survivors from the city to the train station.

Half-life 2: Episode Two

1. To the White Grove (part 2) - a train car, a mine, crabs, Alex.

2. The Ring of Vort (part 2) - fun with turrets and ants.

3. Bridgebuilder Freeman - the first stormtrooper in the game.

4. Armed and on the Road - a trip through an oak grove :)

5. On the Radar - upgrading the car with a brand new radar.

6. Our Mutual Enemy - defending the base from striders.

7. T-Minus One - launching a ballistic missile.
